I am really not focused on weight loss right now. Yes, I did just have a baby 5 months ago and no I still can't fit into those pre-pregnancy skinny jeans. But usually my incredibly chunky monkey nurslings suck the weight right off of me so it just hasn't been a concern for me. My focus has been on nourishing my body with quality nutrients to boost my energy and health instead of stuffing my face with junk out of pure desperation for a pick me up.
Though I am not cleansing like the Incredible Shrinking Man, I have joined him in adding to my diet two super food shakes a day, eating healthy snacks, no processed foods, cutting back on sugars, and a healthy whole foods meal for dinner. In the 30 days of implementing these changes I have lost 13 pounds. That is more in one month than what I have lost in the 4 months following baby boy's birth combined!
If I keep up that pace I should be in those skinny jeans next month! My ultimate goal in life. Can I get an amen?
